Worldcoin has unveiled World Chat, a new feature in the World App that enables users to exchange encrypted messages and perform crypto transfers seamlessly. This “mini-app” is integrated with World ID, which verifies user identity and builds trust in communication.
Messages from verified users are displayed in blue, accompanied by a unique World ID badge, while messages from unverified users appear in gray without the badge.
Thanks to integration with the World App wallet, users can send and receive cryptocurrency as easily as sharing an image. World Chat is currently in beta and features end-to-end encryption to ensure user privacy and security.
