🤖 SingularityNET and Privado ID Build the First Decentralized Trust System for AI Agents

In a world where AI is increasingly embedded in daily life, trust in AI agents is more important than ever. That’s why SingularityNET and Privado ID have announced a strategic partnership to launch the world’s first decentralized trust registry for AI agents — the AI Agent Trust Registry.

This groundbreaking platform will allow each AI agent to obtain a Decentralized Identifier (DID) and verifiable credentials, enabling users to confirm an agent’s authenticity, safety, and fairness before interacting with it.

Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET, emphasized that the future isn’t just defined by how humans interact with AI, but also how AI systems interact with one another. Integrating decentralized, privacy-centric credentials from Privado ID lays the groundwork for a secure, autonomous network of AI agents.

Sebastián Rodríguez, Product Director at Privado ID, noted that assigning unique, verifiable identities to AI agents fosters accountability, trust, and interoperability, while reducing reliance on centralized authorities.

The rollout of the AI Agent Trust Registry will be phased: starting with a pilot integration with the AIRIS AI Agent, then scaling to a full registry and exploring self-governance concepts for AI agents. This phased approach ensures robust verification and full data privacy, creating a solid foundation for long-term integration into the broader Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) ecosystem.
