Anybotics secures €127 million and brings quadruped robots to the industrial arena
Swiss startup Anybotics, one of the leaders in autonomous quadruped robotics, has announced the completion of a major investment round — raising more than €127 million. The goal: expand its Bionic Robot product line for industrial applications and accelerate deployment in infrastructure, energy, and construction sectors.
The company has long established itself as a pioneer: its robotic “dogs” Patrol, Explorer, and other series are used for inspecting underground tunnels, mines, industrial sites, and energy complexes. Their advantage lies in high mobility, resistance to rough terrain, and the ability to operate where wheels and tracks fail.
The new capital will allow Anybotics not just to scale but to compete with industrial giants in the robotics industry: expanding the software and AI teams, upgrading the sensor platform, and increasing autonomy and battery life. The press release notes that part of the funds will be directed toward developing models for hot, aggressive, or hazardous environments — where conditions such as temperature, humidity, and corrosion typically “kill” conventional robots.
