Apple Vision Air: The Headset Will Become Lighter, Thinner, and More Affordable

Apple is seriously aiming to make mixed reality technology mainstream.
According to insider Kosutami, the next model of the headset — possibly named Vision Air — will become noticeably lighter and more compact.

The device’s casing will still be made of aluminum but will debut in a new elegant Midnight shade, similar to the latest MacBook Air.
Internally, Apple plans a clever move: part of the components and the battery will be made from titanium, which should significantly reduce the weight of the headset without sacrificing durability.

Sources also note that Vision Air is unlikely to be a direct successor to the expensive Vision Pro, but rather a more affordable version aimed at a broader audience.
If Apple succeeds in making the design lighter and simpler, while enriching it with content, Vision Air could become the first popular mixed reality device to find its place in millions of homes.

The debut of the new product is expected in late 2025 or early 2026.
