Berlin-Based Startup Green Fusion Raises €12 Million to Scale Smart Heating Systems

German startup Green Fusion, specializing in the digital optimization of heating systems in multi-family buildings, has successfully completed a Series A funding round, raising €12 million. The round was led by HV Capital and XAnge, with participation from BitStone Capital, Übermorgen Ventures, Kopa Ventures, Vireo Ventures, and Brandenburg Kapital.

Founded in 2021 by Paul Hock, the company offers an AI solution that analyzes heating system performance in real time, identifies inefficiencies, and automatically adjusts settings to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.
According to Green Fusion, their clients — over 100 property management companies servicing more than 800,000 apartments — have already achieved an average 16% reduction in heating costs, equivalent to over €233,000 in annual savings for every 100 heating systems.

The funds raised will be used to expand the company’s presence in Europe, including markets in France and the Benelux countries, and to integrate renewable energy sources into their existing technology. By 2025, Green Fusion plans to equip 3,000 buildings with its system, representing a threefold increase from current levels. EU-Startups
