Norway’s Democratic Party has officially endorsed the recognition and adoption of Bitcoin as a symbol of a decentralized future. According to the party, decentralization is key to protecting national sovereignty and individual freedoms.
In their statement, the party declared:
“Centralized economic control threatens freedom. We see Bitcoin not just as a currency, but as the foundation of a new democratic economy.”
The party’s stance echoes a growing European movement in favor of financial sovereignty and against the dominance of large tech and banking institutions.
At a time when central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are raising concerns over privacy and control, Bitcoin is emerging as an alternative — backed by code, not decrees.
