
BlackBird by CycloTech: eVTOL with Next-Level Maneuverability
CycloTech has unveiled its new demonstration model, BlackBird, an electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft promising to redefine airborne mobility. The standout innovation of this model is its unique CycloRotor propulsion system, which delivers maneuverability unmatched by traditional aerial vehicles.
Unlike standard propellers, CycloRotor generates thrust that can be directed 360 degrees in any direction. This enables BlackBird to “glide” through the air, hover with pinpoint accuracy, and change trajectory instantaneously. In dense urban spaces or during rescue operations, such precision becomes a critical advantage.
In addition to high maneuverability, CycloRotor ensures low noise levels, making BlackBird ideal for urban environments. Its compact design fits perfectly into the concept of air taxis, where sustainability, safety, and convenience are paramount.
