Duvo.ai raises $15 million to automate retail’s “manual chaos”

Startup Duvo.ai has closed a $15 million seed round to develop an AI platform for automating operational processes in retail and e-commerce. The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Credo Ventures, Northzone, and a group of business angels from Stripe, Wiz, and Zapier.

Duvo.ai offers AI agents that operate on top of existing ERP and IT systems without complex integrations. Teams can describe tasks in natural language, and the system automatically executes operations—from inventory management to invoice processing and promotional activities. According to pilot deployments, this reduces manual labor by up to 40% and allows automation to be launched in weeks rather than months.

The startup’s key advantage is the founders’ operational experience. CEO Tomáš Čupr, who previously built the European grocery “unicorn” Rohlik Group, is developing the product based on real pain points of large-scale retail rather than abstract AI scenarios.

For investors, Duvo.ai represents a bet on applied enterprise AI that delivers measurable impact in one of the most complex and capital-intensive industries of the global economy.
