Polish Startup Creotech Signs €52 Million Contract with the European Space Agency
Poland-based Creotech Instruments, specializing in the development of satellites and space systems, has signed a €52 million contract with the European Space Agency (ESA). The deal concerns the EagleEye project — Poland’s first high-resolution Earth observation orbital mission.
The mission’s goal is to develop a satellite capable of providing precise and timely images of the planet’s surface, supporting both civil and defense tasks such as disaster monitoring, land use, infrastructure management, and climate change observation. The launch is scheduled for 2026.
The contract is not only a recognition of the technological maturity of Poland’s space sector but also an important step towards greater European autonomy in space.
Previously focused on quantum technologies and microelectronics, Creotech is solidifying its position as a key player in Europe’s NewSpace scene.
