SwissGPT Gov: Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration
The European startup platform Hi-Tech Innovation has announced the launch of an innovative startup, SwissGPT Gov 1.0—the first specialized AI model designed for the government structures of the Swiss Confederation. This startup is positioned as the most efficient civil servant and sets ambitious goals for modernizing and digitalizing the work of public institutions.
SwissGPT Gov is an adapted version of multiple artificial intelligence tools currently in development, specifically designed for the needs of government institutions. It integrates advanced AI technologies into the management system to enhance transparency, efficiency, and security.

The project focuses on automating and optimizing workflows in public administration, including:
🔹 Electronic legislation and document management – standardizing and simplifying bureaucratic procedures
🔹 Automated e-services – expanding the accessibility of government services for citizens
🔹 Analytics, statistics, and reporting – instant data processing and analysis to improve governance efficiency
🔹 Control and security – secure storage and protection of information within closed networks
🔹 Multilingual functionality – automatic operation in all official languages of Switzerland
The creators plan to establish a project-based organization in Switzerland and commercialize the initiative through a paid subscription model.
Digitalization at the Government Level: A Step into the Future
This startup is a logical continuation of the “Electronic Geschäftsführer” and “Electronic Corporate Secretary” projects, which the platform initiated in late 2024. These AI-based solutions are designed for corporate governance in German-speaking countries—Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein—taking into account differences in regulatory and legislative frameworks.
SSwissGPT Gov 1.0 is being designed to fully comply with Switzerland’s regulatory and legal requirements, making it specifically tailored to local realities. Moreover, the project incorporates extensive research on best practices from leading countries in the development of “e-government”, alongside modern AI capabilities combined with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies.
The integration of AI into public administration represents a radical transformation of bureaucratic processes, significantly enhancing efficiency, minimizing human error, and reducing administrative costs. The startup aims to collaborate with interested government agencies and innovation centers in Switzerland to ensure a comprehensive approach to training and “fine-tuning” the neural network.
The Future Belongs to Digital Assistants and AI-Twins
The practical application of the latest AI advancements in the coming years will be particularly focused on the development of digital assistants, AI-powered secretaries, and AI twins integrated with databases and content-generation systems.
This transformation is reaching a new level, turning AI from a simple analytical tool into an independent participant in administrative and management processes. SwissGPT Gov serves as an intelligent assistant and a personalized digital twin of government officials, streamlining document flow and data management while taking over a significant portion of bureaucratic functions at any level. This makes governance more transparent, adaptive, efficient, and accessible to the public.
