UNIO + OIQ: Seamless Satellite Connectivity

German NewSpace startup UNIO Enterprise joins OIQ Global (OrbitsIQ), a leader in next-gen satellite networks. The deal paves the way for a hybrid platform merging satellite and terrestrial connectivity for transport, logistics, autonomous vehicles, and agriculture.

UNIO’s Smart-Switch tech enables real-time network switching, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity with no “blind spots.” This innovation will now form OIQ’s core architecture.

Behind the deal lies not just tech rationale but geopolitical context: resilient communication channels are strategic assets in an age of autonomy and digital dependency. Despite past struggles (UNIO survived insolvency), the project gets a second chance — within a global infrastructure ecosystem.
